Timely
Topics...
This
Web site is designed for educators who want to find lessons, ideas,
projects, and information on the Internet fast. The links
are arranged by subject and then divided into more specific areas
so that things can be quickly located. This site could also
be used by families, either for additional information on a topic
of interest to the family or by families who have chosen to home-school
their children. In addition, this site can be used by students who
want to learn more about a topic or who are looking for a project
to present at their school.
I originally designed this site for use with my
students. It was so useful and so much fun that it just kept
growing! Now I am adding more information for students, teachers
and parents. I am also in the (slow!) process of redesigning the
site because of the amount of information I have accumulated.
In Timely Topics you will find important events for each day of the month and has information about
online projects for students and teachers. These projects are listed
according to the day registration for the project closes and are found
at the bottom of each month's page in the section with orange background.
